I was recently invited to attend the launch event for L’oreal’s new hair dye line, Preference Mousse Absolue. It was held at the Eric Del Monaco salon in Toronto. Loved the minimalistic design of this salon. We got to meet the owner, him and his team were so great!

They were kind enough to allow us to try the line first hand, and they had so many great shades to choose from. Check out the setup! L’oreal knows how to make a girl happy 🙂

I chose shade 465- the shade with the most red in it. I have been blond ombre for a whole year and was definitely overdue for a change. I’ve been loving seeing all of the redheads out there and was inspired to make the change.  The unique thing about this color is the ease in which you can apply it- it comes out like a mousse and has a mechanism that mixes the formula within the canister. So you can actually keep whatever you don’t use for root touch ups later! Imagine that, I know a lot of women are going to love that feature.What do you think of the results? It ended up taking on a dark red tone with a slight ombre. I love the change! Thanks L’oreal 🙂
