Did anyone catch the Grammy’s last night? I have to admit I pretty much only watched for the red carpet. I love that the Grammys is the one red carpet where everyone just has the most fun possible with their looks. Last night’s show didn’t disappoint! So I put together my top picks for the 2016 Grammys beauty looks.
First up is Taylor Swift. Ok I loved her outfit with the color blocking and the peakaboo slit. Her makeup was just as gorgeous. I love how her artist paired a bright lip with a subtle pop of color under her eyes. So fun! You can mimic the look, all you need is a small smudger brush to apply any shadow of your choice under your eyes.
Next up, Adele. I mean what list would be complete without Adele?! Not only is her eyeliner on point as usual, what I loved most about her look last night was her hair. OMG. Talk about effortless chic. It’s all about adding texture with a good quality flat iron and texturing spray.
Ok so I have to admit I don’t know much about country music, so I had no idea who Kacey Musgraves was when I saw her on the red carpet, but I sure do now. I mean that makeup is on point! The lashes, the liner and that mauve lip? Impeccable.
Next up is Kaley Cuoco. That hair. I mean. This girl rocks the ombre look like no one else. For those of you doubting the longevity of the ombre style, trust me it’s not going anywhere. It may change a little over time, but it’s just like skinny jeans and wearing boots over your pants, it’s here to stay. Anyways back to the look, I love how her stylist emphasized her bob with waves, totally makes the look and her hair color pop. Gorgeous. You can achieve this with a waving wand, wrapping your hair around the wand but leaving about an inch or 2 at the ends straight.
Demi Lovato rounds up our list with this gorgeous, dewy, understated yet sooo gorgeous makeup look. I have been loving everything Demi Lovato lately. She’s sooo inspiring with her openess with the struggles she’s been through, her journey out of all of that and her message about self confidence trumping everything else. Love this girl!! Plus how gorgeous is this girl’s skin? Something tells me she could walk the red carpet without a stitch of makeup and still make the best beauty lists. Love her. To fake her luminosity with the help of mimic, add a drop of MAC Strobe Cream to your foundation.
Would you add anyone to this list?
