Today we are talking how to keep your lips soft & healthy in winter (stay tuned for the GIVEAWAY announcement at the end of this post!!).
This is the hardest time of the year on your pout and it’s important to stick to a regimen esp if you want your lipstick/gloss to go on smooth. Plus if you wear a lot of matte finish lipsticks like I do, you’ll def want to pay attention to this as those can wreak havoc on your lips after a few days of continuous wear.
Bliss cosmetics has come out with the perfect system to take care of your lips in the winter. It’s their Bliss Fabulips Pout-O-Matic Lip-Perfecting System & Bliss Fabulips 4 Step Treatment Kit.
Here are my healthy lips tips 😉
The first step is to cleanse the lips. You’ll want to remove any product from the lips before you exfoliate. The foaming lip cleanser by Bliss is great at removing most lip products and is pretty gentle so your lips don’t feel super dry after.
After cleansing it’s time to exfoliate any dead skin cells away. The Pout-o-matic by Bliss is fantastic for exactly this. It’s a tool with a rotating head (think like an electric toothbrush but slower). You apply the Sugar lip scrub and use the pout-o-matic to work it into the lips. The rotating action sloughs off any dead skin cells, and the jojoba seed, olive oil, shea and coconut butters in the lip scrub leave the lips feeling nice and smooth after.
Now that the lips are nice and smooth, it’s time to plump! I mean who doesn’t want Angelina Jolie lips? The Bliss instant lip plumper volumizes your lips using a cork tree extract & peptide complex.
The last step is to moisturize with the softening lip balm. The lip balm contains ingredients like shea butter, jojoba and grapeseed oil & Vitamin E to keep the lips nice and hydrated and seals in moisture which is essential after exfoliating.
Ok now for my GIVEAWAY announcement! Bliss cosmetics has been kind enough to offer one lucky winner this complete system!
