Last week I went to an amazing event called Elevate which was celebrating the launch of a new site called Happy Girl– dedicated to uniting, inspiring and empowering women. It was created by  Sabaina Malik, a wonderful female entrepreneur who has dedicated herself to supporting other women. Female empowerment is something so important to me so I am so happy to have met Sabaina and attended this event. The energy in the room was filled with positivity, love, gratitude and support. I honestly love stuff like this, being an entrepreneur myself, if there is one thing I’ve learnt, it is to surround yourself with positive people. I think that should apply to everyone in every facet of life.

Now back to the fashion fun! I am obsessed with Summer brights, and bought this bright yellow blazer from Zara a little while black. The good thing about yellow is that you can wear it with a tons of different color combos, but my fav for an evening event is to pair it with black and white. Black and white are a good neutral back drop to the yellow so it helps the blazer stand out even more.

To accessorize I paired it with this Gold flower necklace from my jewelry line and Black and gold cuff bracelet. Now there are a few diff things you can do with your makeup to go with yellow, I opted to wear a peachy palette and recreated my Valentine’s Day makeup tutorial. This has got to be one of my fav every day looks I have ever created and I would say the one I prob wear the most. You have to try it out!!!
