I get a lot of people asking me if cream blush is better than powder blush. The truth is there is no right or wrong, both are great products, just depends on the look you want to achieve. Creams are meant to blend into the skin, giving an appearance of a glow coming through, whereas powder sits on top of the skin. I really do like cream blushes, it gives a softer look to your makeup routine, and they aren’t all that difficult to apply, I’m a big fan of MAC’s #188 brush for this. Just make sure you apply it last after all other cream products (primer, foundation, etc.) but before any powder products (setting powder, bronzer, etc.). My fave of the moment is Posey by MAC. It’s a really nice pink, perfect for spring/summer. Oh, and I would definitely skip this if you have oily skin.
