You may have seen the infomercial from Smashbox, promoting their Jet Set Liner. This is one of my favorite gel-based liners to work with. The consistency is thick so it is easier to use and the color goes on denser. It also doesn’t dry out so you can actually finish the entire jar. They advertise that you can apply it on the inner water line of the eye, however I have tried this and I noticed that it tends to break apart in pieces throughout the day, so I wouldn’t recommend it for that. I like to apply this product with the #263 synthetic angled brush from MAC.

I’ve noticed the same thing… jet set isn’t great for the water line (although, it starts off looking good!). i wear contact lenses, and as the night progressed, the bits of liner were irritating my lenses – is there another liner that you can recommend for this?
Hey, I’m a contact lens wearer too, and I totally get the frustration when it comes to wearing liner on the inner rim. I like to use the Technakohl eyeliner in Graphblack by MAC. It’s water resistant (so you will have to touch up at some point) but the color is a rich dark black and it doesn’t transfer nearly as much as other liners do. Hope that helps!
