So I am sooo excited to share a new series with you that I’m starting on my blog in which I’ll be featuring inspirational women who have found success online through their passion.
The first in my series is Youtube beauty guru, Indian Beautie. I came across her videos a longgg time ago when I was starting my channel, and absolutely love and am inspired by her dedication to living her life with passion and following her dreams. Read on to find out more about Snigdha!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am Snigdha, born and grew up in India. Originally from south India but spend most of the childhood and teenage years in Delhi. I moved to London 5 years ago and I love it! I consider myself to be lucky to be living in one of the awesome place in the world.
How did you end up creating a YouTube beauty channel?
I stumbled upon the Youtube beauty community quite a while ago. I was amazed by everything that was going on! However when I tried to find tutorials/help for my skin tone, I couldn’t find anyone. Either the youtubers were lighter skin toned than me or darker. That’s why I though “Why shouldn’t I create a channel and help other girls with my skintone?”
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Inspiration is everywhere….from other Youtubers, magazines and people that I know in everyday life. My husband is a strong supporter of me and his confidence in me keeps me going!
What are your 3 don’t leave home without beauty products?
Actually I am happy to leave home without any makeup but the 3 must items are kohl, mascara and a bright lipstick. Bright lipstick can take the attention away from other parts of the face.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
At the moment, I am planning my travel South America scheduled next year. You can see a lot more about my travels in the ‘Travel’ section of my blog http://www.indianbeautie.com/
You have done an amazing job creating a career out of your dreams, congratulations on all your success! Do you have any advice for other girls when it comes to living their dream?
It sounds cliche’ but be confident, be yourself and believe in your dreams
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I just want to keep making more and more videos and blog posts and keep others inspired.
