Finding a good concealer seems to be like finding the holy grail in your makeup routine. It used to be that we all wore MAC Studio Finish, caked it on and called it a day but concealer formulations have come a longgg way. I compiled a list of my picks for the best concealers for dark circles.
Cle de Peau has got to be one of my absolute favorite concealers out there. It has amazing coverage and the formula is the perfect blend- thick enough to cover but thin enough to not make your undereyes look dry. The only limitations are the price tag (approx $70) and the shade range (there are only 4 colors).
Ok so when I get excited about a makeup product, like really excited (which doesn’t happen that often anymore) you know it’s good. This concealer has the best coverage I’ve seen in a liquid, looks really natural on the skin and is one of the best highlighting concealers out there. A+ in my book.
Of course no list for concealers would be complete without MAC Studio Finish. The reason it’s on the list- amazing coverage and it can look great once you know how to work it. Use very little and invest in the palettes they have to customize the perfect color match for you. This concealer definitely has to be set with a powder or else it will move into the lines.
Makeup Forever Full cover concealer is on the list because not only does it have great coverage to it but it lasts a really long time as it is waterproof.
The Laura Mercier secret camouflage concealer has got to be the most under the radar concealer palette. It is fantastic for the fact that a) it’s a palette so it has a color to correct and another to highlight and b) it’s a cream but blends in beautifully to the skin making it look really natural. For a cream concealer.
