Threading has been around for hundreds of years and it’s time we all adopted the practice! Why? Why not! It’s super cost effective, doesn’t take a long time to do and is very easy once you get the hang of it.
If you’ve always wanted to know how to do it, here is how!
The toughest part about threading is getting the hang of it. Once you’ve gotten the movements down, I promise you it is super easy and quick to do.
You start by taking a shoulder width length of thread, preferably cotton- polyblends don’t grip the hair as well; and tie the thread into a knot so that you have a loop.
From there you twist the thread about 10 times to give you an ‘X’.
To prep your brows, groom them with a spooly brush and trim any long hairs. Using the loose powder, dust the area to absorb any excess oil.
To thread your brows you hold both ends of the loops against your face with your fingers facing towards you. Hold the hand closest to the ceiling tight to your skin and with the other open your loop wider. The thread will catch any hairs and pull them out from the root.
It’ll take a few attempts before you get it right, but once you do, hey watch out now! Have you tried it? Do you have any tips for everyone? If so, leave a comment 😉
