On this week’s episode of Eye on Asia I opted for a sheer purple sari with silver detailing. I love the combination of jewel tones on South Asian skin, nothing is more flattering!

For the jewelry I decided on a necklace and paired it with a tikka. It’s not often that I wear a tikka, but when I do I try to balance the look by keeping the rest of the jewelry relatively simple. Well simple for an Indian girl anyways! 😉

For the makeup I wanted to do something springy and appropriate for Easter this coming weekend! It’s hard for those of us with South Asian skintones to pull off soft pastels, so instead I threw together Easter colors that would work on darker skin. I’ll be posting a makeup tutorial on how to get this look in a couple of days.
