Well guys, it has been a longgg 30 days I can tell you but it has all been worth it. I started with a 10 day juice cleanse followed by 20 days of fruits, veggies, nuts & legumes and although it might sound like there weren’t too many choices, thanks to the power of the internet I discovered some pretty awesome recipes. Even dessert ones!!
I started the detox to treat a dry patch I have had on my forehead on and off for the past 2 years and…it’s gone!! Not only that, most of my eczema disappeared and I keep hearing from everyone how much my skin is glowing. And for those of you that are wondering, I ended up losing 9 lbs in total. Not a bad deal over all. Plus amazing digestion. They say your health is all rooted in your digestion, the better things flow, the better your health is!
As for what my plan is now, I am definitely going to continue with the fruits & veggies, you will never read a report that tells you eating too many fruits & vegetables are bad for you, so I figure these scientists must be on to something. With that said, I am not an extremist by nature so everything in moderation. My 1st meal post detox was a frozen hot chocolate from Second Cup & a peanut butter cookie. LOL. I love those darn things!!
All in all I say this experiment was successful and I am proof that what you eat definitely shows up in your skin. If you are having skin issues, look at your diet and see where you can make changes. Even small changes can make a huge difference over time. I mean instead of investing in all of those expensive creams & treatments, try changing your diet first and you can wind up saving yourself a ton of money & energy in the long run!
