1. MAC Viva Glam II- great neutral for everyday, good under any gloss.
2. MAC Angel- the prettiest pink ever!
3. MAC Snob- bright bubblegummy pink, cause once in a while everyone wants to look like Barbie 
4. MAC Cherish- beige neutral, great with a smoky eye.
5. MAC Dubonnet- the perfect red on Indian skintones.
NICE! i shy away from pinks, so maybe i’ll check out your picks. also…i did check out the whirl/gel combos you mentioned for the look a few posts back… i liked them!
okay, so i have dubonnet, but feel that it comes out looking a bit orangey in pics. is there another shade that you can recommend? maybe something a bit deeper or darker without getting brown looking?

What do you think about Rouge Coco? It looks like a nice color and looks fab on Vanessa Paradis. But does it look good on brown skin?

I swear I’ll convert everyone over to pinks, I love them!! Lol. Ok for the red lip, I normally pair MAC’s Brick Lipliner which brightens the look a little. Or you could try Dare you (deeper) or Brave Red (brighter and less orange) instead. But try the Brick first, it’s such an awesome look!

Which Rouge Coco Lipstick #? I like 19, it’s such a beautiful shade of red, and definitely looks awesome on our skin.

Try that for sure, lipliners definitely have a way of changing the color of the lipstick you put on top and is a great little trick.
I propose not to wait until you get enough cash to buy all you need! You should take the personal loans or just bank loan and feel fine

Hi..love your tips especially those geared to Indian women! I was wondering if you could suggest some lip liners from MAC that are your faves? I know lip liner can totally change the look and colour of the lipsticks/glosses but I’m always sticking to the same browns and want to change it up..any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Well it depends on how mauve you want to go. A really safe one would be Syrup from MAC, it has a lot of pink in it so you would only get a hint of mauve, but if you are bold and daring, try Up the Amp from MAC..it’s a gorgeous color!
got dubonnet yesterday and when I got it it was fine but I left it in my bathroom counter after trying it out in the night. With the AC switched on in the adjoining bedroom and due to humidity, the lipstick seems to have developed tiny oily beads. Is it ok to keep it? Tell me pls as it will save me lot of time and the hassle of exchange.
Also will it affect the longevity of the lipstick in any way and could it be used for the same duration as I would other lipsticks or am I under a compulsion to finish the tube early after this occurrence?
And lastly, what pink lipstick would you suggest for Indian skin NC 35 C3/C4, dark hair and brown eyes? I have plumful and cosmo already.
I would probably exchange it if I were you. Once a lipstick sweats like that the life of the lipstick is reduced and it won’t stay good for as long.

To be or not to be?
I’m writing from Mumbai and I just noticed that almost all my mac lipsticks sweat like that! Just returned from Goa and my Viva Glam1 too sweat (which it never does!)…earlier I was under the impression that only darker colours so but even my cherish sweats when I take it out in the Mumbai heat and humidity. How can I exchange all of them? Maybe they are not formulated for this weather? Maybe you could bring this to the notice of Mac authorities?
Looks like many others have the same problem too. The lipstick looks the same as the picture here.
