Thought I’d share with you all how I did this purple eye look I wore yesterday. No I didn’t go anywhere special, just work, but I work at MAC so gotta represent. Lol. I used the MAC pigment in Pink Opal on the eyelid, you need a dense firm brush (like the #242) to be able to pack this on the lid as the pigment is a loose powder. Then with a crease brush (#217) I applied the MAC pigment in Violet to the entire crease area. With a clean brush blend it out. Pigments don’t stick as well so you definitely need to use a primer on your eye first. I then went into the corner of the crease with MAC shadow in Shadowy Lady (a dark purple). This gave the eyes that smoky appearance. I finished with MAC shadow in Ricepaper under the eyebrow and on the inner corner. I used MAC blush in Dame on the cheeks and MAC lipglass in Cultured on the lips. Here’s what it looked like:
