Just a quick makeup tip for applying concealer. Emphasis is too often placed on concealing the entire under eye area. This can cause the area under your eyes to look cakey and made up. The goal is to have the skin look flawless but not like you are wearing makeup. Focus your attention on concealing the inner corner of your eye. This will open your eyes up and make them appear brighter. Only conceal under the eyes where you can see visible darkness or redness. This will usually be right under the inner corner of the eye, and just under the lower lash line. Make sure your concealer is close to your skin color, but has a peach/pink under tone; this will give you the best coverage.

This is definitely a must for me! I was wondering if you have any input on how to apply the concealer – use brush strokes or blot it using a brush? Is there a difference in coverage, or a method that is preferable by makeup artists?

You can use a brush and tap the concealer on and then use brush strokes to blend the edges..tapping it on will maximize coverage where you need it. Hope that helps!
