Welcome to my very first Blog! I hope you find what you’re looking for here, whether it be the best new products, a useful technique, inspirational looks, or the latest makeup trends. Whatever your reason for being here, the bottom line is we are all on this site because of our love for makeup. I have loved makeup from as far back as I can remember. I still recall my 11^th birthday when my cousin put eye shadow on me for the very first time. I was immediately hooked. Then the following year at 12 years of age that took me to London where my beautiful older cousin would “drag” me around from each beauty counter to the next, where I would sit, mesmerized, as the ladies would literally paint her face with all this color and shimmer, and come up with the prettiest looks. And then of course came the inevitable love affair with MAC . I think most of you who love makeup can understand what I am talking about. We can all remember our first MAC lipstick, can’t we? Well I would go to the counter and stare at these women (and men) with the most flawless looking faces, eye shadow perfectly blended, and oh the blush!! To me they were celebrities and I used to dream that one day I could be like them (lo and behold, dreams really do come true). Being East Indian however, if you are not on a path to becoming a doctor, engineer, lawyer, or have embarked on some large scale entrepreneurship, you are not on the “right” path. With that said, (and yes I said it), what I have learned in my life thus far is that if you have true passion for something, it can only be denied for so long before it chooses you . A fulfilled life is one with passion. So there you have it, my very first blog. I hope you all find what you are looking for here.
