Got some fun Halloween makeup for you guys today! Have you seen the #badbeti hashtag floating around on IG? I think it was started by Jasmine Lakhesar and it just totally took off. It’s kinda like Halloween sugar skull meets Bollywood, so fun!
So I decided to give it a try, so here is my Halloween Bad Beti Makeup Tutorial

New makeup tutorial for you guys! It’s been a minute since I’ve done a nice dark lip and seeng as it’s fall and all (don’t tell the weather cause apparently it has no idea) I figured it was the perfect time for a Fall 2017 makeup tutorial.
I finally got to put my only Fenty Beauty purchase to use in this vid! I got the Trophy Wife highlight which is GORGEOUS. Haven’t tried the foundations just yet as I’ve heard they are more suited to oily skin and look a little cake on drier skin. My skin is normal type and at the moment I have a few dry patches so I know it won’t work for me.
Have you guys checked out the latest and greatest from Urban Decay? I know, I know, there are palettes popping up every other day now it seems, but honestly guys, this one is AMAZING. Huge fan. Full of warm tones which are super flattering on South Asian/Indian skintones and just the right combo of matte and shimmery shades. Put together a little Urban Decay Naked Heat makeup tutorial for you guys!!
It’s up guys!! My wedding ceremony makeup tutorial is live on the channel! Like I mentioned before I’ll also have my wedding reception makeup up for you in a little bit. I have a feeling you guys are gonna like this one. Tons of colour and glitter, just so much fun!
If you want to see some pics from my wedding, here’s the link to the posts — Part 1 & Part 2
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fantabulous weekend We had our annual Berar family picnic. It was a great turnout and one of the best ones so far! I’ll post pics soon. In the meantime I have the $25 Makeup Challenge video I created for you guys. I got the idea from an old Michelle Phan $20 makeup challenge video and thought it would be a great idea to do something like that since I have so many of you asking for drugstore tutorials.
Decided to do 2 different looks for you guys, one more focused on face and one focused on eyes. I teamed up with Shoppers Drug Mart on this one! Love Shoppers, been a loyal customer since day 1. I had never tried Joe Fresh Beauty or Essence before so I was super excited to give both brands a try!
Ok can we mention how impressed I am with the Joe Fresh Daily boost fluid foundation?! Great coverage and only $18. Not a bad deal at all! Loving the Essence Matt Matt lipstick as well. Been looking for a full coverage matte lipstick that doesn’t dry out the lips and this one is pretty good.
Essence has some great eye kits for only $9.99. Did my entire eyes with the Shape & Shadows kit in one of the looks.
Also very impressed with the Essence Lash Princess mascara. I had heard good things about it and had wanted to try it for a while and it’s totally worth the 5 bucks. Makes your lashes HUGE, you guys know how much I love that
Onto the video!
Question- What’s your fav beauty find at Shoppers?
So guys we finally did it!! We recorded a my husband does my makeup video! You guys have no idea. I’ve been wanting to do one of these ever since they first became popular back in 2013. Only problem back then was I was single lol. Minor problem really haha.
Derek has no clue about makeup, back when we first started dating he watched a few of my videos (he still does every now and then) but really he has no clue. He did a pretty decent job though as a first timer! I was impressed.
We had so much fun doing this video! Derek is such a natural on camera and I swear this has been the most fun video I’ve created to date because he’s just so funny and had me cracking up the whole way through. Literally 9 minutes of me laughing.
Here’s the vid! Do you guys want to see Derek in more of my videos?
Hello Deep Beauty fam! I’m back with another tutorial for you guys cause I know you’ve been wanting a makeup one for so long (I get so distracted by the deep beauty stuff!). This is the look I promised you, my bachelorette party makeup.
As you might recall I posted a recap of our bachelorette night out & about in Toronto. Such a fun night and so unexpected! Thanks again to all family & friends for making a gal feel special
I used some of my fav products to create this look and I wanted to tie my bachelorette and wedding makeup together somehow so they are a play off of each other. You guys have been requesting a tutorial on that look as well which I promise I’ll post soon enough! I’ll have to record it when I get back to Burlington as my outfit is at home.
New look is up for you guys! This is my Fall makeup 2016 look, I used the amazing Master palette by Mario to achieve this look anddd, did a little double winged liner for y’all!
Dunno about you but for some reason lately seems like I’ve gotten bit by the makeup bug and I just want to create fun, colorful, glittery looks like all the time! I know I’m known for more natural makeup, and I def won’t stray from that, but I kinda want to have some fun.
That’s where this double winged liner action came into play. Love, love, love for a little pop of extra something and it’s sooo easy to recreate.
First off you gotta start with this bad boy right here, the Master palette by Mario. IN LOVE. This is like the perfect fall makeup palette. Not to mention the creator, none other than Mario Dedivanovic is unbelievably talented, pretty much a makeup God so you know it was gonna be good.
Anyhow, here’s the vid. Let me know if you have any requests for the upcoming holiday season!
Hey guys! So I know it’s been a while since I posted in here, truth of the matter is that I’ve been focusing most of my time on my Youtube channel and on my Instagram, but I know you guys want to see an update so I thought I’d share one of my fav videos I did recently!
It’s a glittery Indian bridal makeup look. I dunno about you, but I LOVE glitter. Makes everything look super pretty and totally makes your eyes pop. The glitter I used for this look is from Make Up For Ever, it’s their Diamond powder which is one of my favs. Each particle is pretty tiny, so when you put it on it doesn’t feel like this outdated, chunky 80’s glitter.
I used the MUFE Aqua seal to adhere it to the skin. It’s a clear liquid that you can mix with anything to make it waterproof. Genius. Basically I put a drop in my hand, mixed in some glitter, and applied to the eyes. Pretty simple stuff.
Anyways, here’s the vid for you guys. Let me know if you want to see more like this!
